Why is it i'm always stuck in this position
left to fill in the gaps of other's books unwritten.
Why is it that each time i think i get a chance
I end up sitting at the losing end.

Their stories began and ended
yet mine is left unattended
Have i run out of ink
Or do i just need more time to think
